Gamma Psi Leading the Way in Philanthropy

Over the last few years our Chapter became a leader at Georgia Tech in Philanthropy as a model to the community, and is now formally recognized as one of the top five chapters in IFC for Philanthropy in 2015. Our year-round dedication to begins with fundraising and participating at Relay for Life hosted here at Georgia Tech, in which we partnered with Alpha Xi Delta sorority to raise over $7000 and came out as top team at the event for the 3rd year in a row. In the fall we turned our focus to the our annual fundraising week for the Wounded Warrior Project by hosting a barbecue dinner and collection drive for non-perishable goods to be sent overseas to our troops. Through the project we have raised $10,000 in monetary donations and have sent over $4000 worth of care packages to the brave men and women out serving our country. We concluded the year by raising over $1200 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). We are more excited than ever to begin new projects and host more events in this upcoming year and beyond in our effort to give back to the community and raise awareness for causes that the brothers of Gamma Psi Chapter are truly passionate about.
